Obligations of the insured in the event of a claim

Conditions that apply to all coverages and benefits of this Policy

Accident or disease

In case of accident or sudden disease during the trip, if the Insured needs to request “Travel Assistance” and “Medical Expenses” (hospital inpatient treatment, specialist treatment, medical tests, scans or medical repatriation), insured or his personal representative must contact immediately Chubb Assistance available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year at following contacts:

If Chubb Assistance is not contacted, Chubb may reject the Claim or reduce the payment.

All other Claims

The notification of the claim - along with all documentation required to assess the loss - must be sent to one of the following addresses:

The Insured or the party acting on behalf of the latter must notify the claim to Chubb immediately or within 30 (thirty) days from the date of occurrence of the loss – 6 (six) days for claims related to Personal liability coverage - supplying Chubb with all documents that are useful for managing the loss and without prejudice to the right of Chubb to request, for the purposes of liquidation, any additional documentation with respect to that which is contractually required as well as the right to enforce, at any time and in any case, potential exceptions even if has begun the liquidation of the insurance guarantees.
